Why Labels Come as One Combined PDF
Batch-print tools are built for sheet printers, not label rolls.
Shipping and marketplace platforms often let you print several orders' labels at once, and the most paper-efficient way to do that on a regular printer is to place 2 or 4 labels on a single Letter or A4 page. Tools like ShipStation, Pirate Ship, Shopify Shipping and Etsy's batch label export all do this by default for multi-order downloads.
A desktop thermal label printer expects the opposite: one label, one physical page, fed from a roll. Sent as-is, a combined sheet either shrinks every label down to fit the roll width or gets cut apart in the wrong places — neither of which a print driver can fix on its own.
How to Split the PDF
Three steps, no software to install.

Splitting vs. Resizing
Two different problems, two different tools.
