What this tool checks

Every check below runs locally against the pixels of your photo — nothing is uploaded to a server.

• Resolution and dimensions — width and height in pixels, compared against each marketplace’s own minimum and recommended size.
• Aspect ratio — relevant mainly for Pinterest, which favors a 2:3 vertical ratio.
• Background — samples the border of the photo to estimate whether it’s a plain white/transparent background (Amazon requires this for the main image) or something busier.
• Product framing (occupancy) — roughly how much of the frame the product fills, checked against Amazon’s 85%+ and Google’s 75–90% guidance.
• Centering — whether the product sits near the middle of the frame, since some marketplaces crop or scale thumbnails from the center.
• File size and format — checked against each marketplace’s own upload limits.

How it works

1. Drop in a product photo (JPG, PNG, or WebP).
2. FitMyPage decodes it on a canvas in your browser and estimates the background and the product’s bounding box.
3. You get five result cards — one per marketplace — each listing pass, warning, or fail for that marketplace’s specific rules, with a plain-language reason and a link to the full guide.

What this can and can’t tell you

This is an automated, browser-based estimate — not a certification, and not a guarantee any marketplace will accept your listing. It works best on a single product against a plain white or transparent background, which is the most common style for marketplace main images. A busy or lifestyle photo lowers the confidence of the background and framing checks, and the tool says so rather than guessing silently.

It also can’t detect everything a marketplace checks for by hand or with more advanced tooling — things like added text, logos, watermarks, or borders aren’t measured here. Always check the platform’s own current help page before a big batch upload.
