Why Shipping Labels Print Too Small or Get Cut Off
Most carrier and marketplace PDFs are built on a full Letter or A4 page, with the label content placed in one corner alongside a receipt or instructions. Printed as-is on a 4×6 thermal printer, it either shrinks to fit the roll or gets sliced off.

Printing Tips
Print at Actual Size / 100%. Avoid "Fit to Page" or "Shrink oversized pages" in your print dialog — those settings rescale a page that FitMyPage already sized exactly for your printer, undoing the fix. Most print dialogs offer this as an explicit "Actual Size" or "100%" option instead of "Fit."
Desktop 4×6 thermal printers
Most direct-thermal desktop label printers (203 or 300 DPI) expect a page that is physically 4×6 inches. The 4×6 preset matches this exactly, so you can print at Actual Size with no scaling.
A6-based label stock
Some label stock and printers outside the US use the ISO A6 size (105 × 148mm) instead of 4×6 inches. FitMyPage includes A6 as a dedicated preset using its exact millimeter dimensions.
Standard inkjet/laser printers
If you're printing labels on a regular printer and cutting them by hand, a custom size — matching your label sheet's cell size — lets you fit the output to your paper.
Rotated or landscape layouts
If your printer feeds labels sideways, the Rotate 90° option reorients the output without re-cropping.

4 × 6 inches is the standard size for most direct-thermal desktop label printers. Use A6 if your label stock is sized in millimeters, 4 × 4 for square labels, or Custom for anything else.
FitMyPage already sizes the output page to your exact target dimensions. If your print dialog uses "Fit to Page" or "Shrink oversized pages," it will rescale that already-correct page, which can shrink the label and desync it from your label stock.
Yes, always. Drag the crop box or its corner handle, or use the arrow keys (with Shift to resize) for keyboard control. Manual Crop resets to the safe full-page default so you can start fresh.
FitMyPage detects when a page already matches your selected output size and shows "Already fits 4×6" instead of applying an unnecessary crop, so you never lose edge content on a page that was already correct.
FitMyPage currently supports PDF files up to 25MB. Password-protected PDFs aren't supported yet — remove the password in your PDF reader first.
